MEDICAL DIVISION
The Medical Division is one of four main Divisions in the Region II Trauma and Medical Center. Other Divisions are, namely- Nursing Division, Hospital Operations and Patient Support Division and Finance Division. The Medical Division consists of three sections, namely- Clinical, Ancillary and Allied Health.
The Clinical Section composes of different departments- internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics-gynecology, anesthesiology, out-patient, emergency medicine, family and community medicine and its personnel. The Ancillary Section composes of the Pathology, Blood Bank and Clinical Laboratory, Radiology, Dental and its medical, paramedical and technical personnel. The Allied Health Section composes of Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Social Work, Health Information Management, Pharmacy and its personnel. Specialized Areas composes of Delivery Room Complex, Operating Room Trauma, Obstetrics Complex, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are managed by physicians. Special Sections composes of Burn Unit, Rehabilitation Medicine and Respiratory Unit are also managed by physicians.

To have the clinical departments 100% accredited.
To decrease Infant Mortality Rate from 2.96% to 2.0% or less.
To decrease the mortality rate from 5.16% to less than 2.5%.
To decrease ALOS from 5 days to 3.7 days.
To decrease Gross Infection Rate from 3.8% to 2.0%
Office of the Chief of Medical Professional Staff
The Office of the Chief of Medical Professional Staff (CMPS) provides leadership and policy direction to the Medical Division.
It exercises general supervision and control of all offices in the Division. Likewise, it provides direction in the development of policies, standards, rules and regulations necessary to achieve the goals of the Division and the Hospital.
