MEDICAL ICU
The unit caters to 12 patients composed of 9 rooms and a ward which holds three (3) non-communicable patients. However, the MICU ward holds only two (2) intubated patients at most to provide space for the mechanical ventilator.

General Functions
- The Medical Intensive Care Unit is designed to provide specialized, comprehensive care to critically-ill patients requiring life-saving support, extended observation and close monitoring of their vital parameters.
Each ICU room is equipped with different medical equipment for patient’s use such as patient monitor, piped-in oxygen, suction machine etc.
